Asobuild Gourmet Food Court

Connected to Yokohama station on the East exit is the recently renovated, funky Asobuild building.Full of quirky events and live spaces today we are looking at the 1F Food Court, that has a bunch of great options that aren't your typical food court options. Here are 5 great options for lunch if you are in the Yokohama station area.1. Showa bar meriken shokudo

2. Mouyan Curry Yokohama

3. Homemade Noodles Rooster

4. Taitei taihei

5. Yokohama Yakisoba

Tera Coffee Hakuraku

Tucked away in a backstreet not too far from Hakuraku station is "Tera Coffee" - one of the best local roasters and cafes in the Yokohama area.Specializing in all things coffee and coffee beans, if you are after the perfect cup, you are in for a treat.Honestly, there are too many varieties to choose from, so we recommend asking the staff which is best for that day.Grab a dessert or homemade oatmeal coffee to go along with your morning brew, and you will be off to a great start! You can also choose beans to be roasted and take home with you - which means you might not need to go back - until you run out!Instagram > https://www.instagram.com/terahakurakuGoogle Map > https://goo.gl/maps/xZGVhHc2ZcD5hWvq5

Kodomonokuni Childrens Land

Kodomonokuni was founded in commemoration of the Royal Marriage of Prince Akihito and Princess Michiko in 1959 (mounted Emperor and Empress since 1988). It was officially opened on May 5th, a national holiday of the Children's Day, in 1965.It is a type of natural-park of which the main purpose is to contribute to children's sound mind and body. The land covers an area of 976,000 square meters (approx. 240 acres). The 250 acre park houses a farm with animals and a plaza where visitors can enjoy barbecue. Other attractions include a 110 meter long slide, a mini steam locomotive, and an artificial river amongst other facilities. Nature walks, craft art, and pottery are also popular activities. Children can have fun with their parents at the Kids Zoo, where children can come in contact with small animals. From July the pools are also open which makes this a great weekend destination!Official Website (English) > https://www.kodomonokuni.org/english/Google Map > https://goo.gl/maps/fHXW5YngzsqJ2NnN8

Dream Drive - Building, selling, and renting campervans.

“Whenever I recall and share childhood stories from growing up in the UK and Australia, they almost always begin with a road trip. I had to ask myself “why? why do most of my most memorable childhood stories begin with a journey, and why have I not been making these memories here in Japan? While working in an office in Tokyo for about 10 years, I came to the realization that many Japanese are traveling and experiencing RV road trips abroad in the United States, Australia, Europe, etc. but not doing so in their own country. Japan is in my opinion one of, if not the best country for free-spirited road trip travel as the roads are safe and there are thousands of clean toilets and onsen all throughout the country. My dream with starting this company was to not only build great campervans but also help put Japan on the global map as a top road trip destination.”
